In a "politically correct society?"?
How could we re-name all of the following? :Blackboards,white lines,white sugar,the colour white,the colour black,being blacklisted,a whiteout,a blackout,short stories,tall stories,a horse has a handicap, three blind mice,snow white and the severn dwarfs,etc etc…over to you!
Roger, have you ever heard of "irony?",I would quote from "Blackadder" but I’m sure that would annoy you!
I guess I’m being "greylisted" so far?,I hope haven’t offended the Greys?
Thanks Chris and spaceman, that made me laugh!!,just wait for all those other answers?
To jane,I would love to agree with you,but unfortunately due to "censorship" I can’t say what i think!
I love freedom of speech?,that’s why this question is sure to be removed at some time soon!,

Most of what you listed has actual meaning outside of associating it with race/ethnicity. Again I said most. I think you’re taking it a bit far to draw such direct parallels. Ex. It is a black board because it is in fact the color black. Don’t over think it.

@milaroo he is not going too far, you are actually not allowed to call a blackboard a blackboard, you have to call it a chalkboard, this is the world we live in!

Call a spade a spade.

And if that upsets you then you are the racist NOT me.

I suspect the question is deliberately provocative and is looking for an argument - that is not what I am looking for.

BUT I do not support the so-called politically correct body.

I’m not going to get involved in discussion in specific names or phrases because that is half the problem - once we give another connotation to a well used ENGLISH word or phrase it is doomed to be condemned by the liberal elitist power holders of this beautiful country and wonderful people.

Blackboards,-Educational boards for the poor without computers.
white lines,-traffic police lines another reason for arrest
white sugar, ban all sugar as tastes good so has to be bad for us
the colour white,hue of twilight
the colour black- the hue of twilight,(could be some confusion there)
being blacklisted,-banned for being a scab
a whiteout,-lost in snow
a blackout-lost in coal ,
short stories-small measured tales
,tall stories- a loud of bo**OKs,
a horse has a handicap,-bookies fixed the race
three blind mice 3 sight deficient vermin
snow white -girl pretending to be a virgin
the severn dwarfs,7 unemployable height challenged miners

Britain a desolate land lost to PC w**nkers

I had ten quid on a colourless horse called Chalkboard. It took part in a wheelchair in a 3mile physically impaired mosque-chase.Unfortunately,the equine quadroped was startled by 3 visually-impaired rodents, and bolted, splattering a multicultural princess all over the track.
Fortunately, the day was saved when 7 vertically-challenged citizens strangled it with their bare hands. And they all lived happily ever after-including the horse, which took great pride in being served up on dining tables all over France.
