Jagged edges in games while playing 360 on new HD TV?
Hi
So I just got this TV: http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.storef ront/4b4c78bc01b22e6e2740c0a87e0106b5/Pr oduct/View/GE6601
And when connect my Xbox 360 to it and play games, the picture is very jagged and blurry. Why is this? How do I fix it?
The picture was better on my old SD TV that I have had for like 4 years.
I am using the Red Blue and Green ones. And I switched it to HDTV on the thing that connects to the xbox. But it still looks really bad
You’ll need to switch to using the component (red/green/blue and red/white) cables or an HDMI cable to get a full HD picture on your TV.

A tv that small… make sure you keep it on 720p. You bought one with 1080p which on a tv that small is just a waste of money.
Second, idk if your tv does, but if it has a game mode, switch it to that.
Again idk what your tv can do, but put the sharpness to ether 3 or 7, edge enhancment on, jutter rate at 6 or 7, blur reduction at 3 or 5.
Also with ALL hdtvs, if your not use to having one, it takes awhile to get use to. They will look … weird with more jagged lines around edges of buildings and stuff. Untill you find the right settings for you, and evern when you do, it will take some time till your eyes see them as normal.
I just bought a 46" HDTV and it look beautifull, but i noticed the same problem. After about 2 day of breaking in the tv i messed with the setting for mine and it looks much better. Trust me i played on a tiny SD up untill a week ago. Never even seen and HDTV with a 360. I was amazed and kinda disappointed at the same time. But after a week i dont notice stuff so much, and it all starts looking more natural like my SD … except WAY better graphics lol .
Give it some time, and mess around with the settings till you find somthing you like.
